Ah, the beloved Victrola. JD Franklin, AKA JD Bham of Birmingham’s Revolution Radio dubbed this beauty "the 200 pound iPod" because I made a minor (though in no way permanent) alteration that allows me to connect it to a computer/mp3 player/miscellaneous piece of techno-junk via a standard headphone cable.

The first thing I tested this modification on was my GameBoy. I played Super Mario Land 2 with the audio piped through a 200 watt console stereo.

Awesome? I think so.

Then again my girlfriend reminds me at least once a day that I’m a nerd, so…
